W H A T ' S N E W ?

The cardboard work was born out of utility. I have always loved cardboard as a medium. it is free, environmentally friendly and plentiful. It has texture, can be torn apart, layered and experimented upon. You can waste cardboard and not feel bad about it. I love it.

The small woolen pieces were made for Stagecoach Run, 2026. Jane Carr told me that it is wise to have afordable pieces. Art is for everyone! Dyeing fabric is a real pleasure, and making small compositions (sewing curves) was another challenge. There are also a few cotton, fluffy pieces in there.

Cardboard antique store: Photographed at night because it is almost impossible to capture during the daytime. An example of art as joy. Fun to make and fun or funny to see. Made from cardboard, a few pieces of paper, and a bit of fabric--all painted. The challenge? No money was spent on this project. Paints were mixtures of house paint, mural paint, and acrylic paints--mixing them together makes them--stronger?
