Large Scale Puppet Making Workshop
Let's create magical, HUGE puppets together!
Larger than life, they can be worn, toted on a wagon, or fitted with wheels!
Do you like to work with cardboard, papier mache wood or wire?
Think big! This is your chance to parade your finished work down Main Street in Stamford during Headwaters' Music and Arts Festival. No experience required. Bring your own, unique talents and we'll take it from there!

How to work with color: working with color and making color combinations

In this workshop participants will explore color and how to use it to develop exciting and harmonious color combinations. Participants will create stamps or stencils to produce their decorative patterns and designs in their chosen color scheme.
By the end of the workshop participants will know how to mix colors and develop patterns to personalize their wardrobe and home. All materials provided.

Needle Felting
Dive into the enchanting world of felting with renowned local fiber artist Anne Gohorel!
In this hands-on workshop, Anne will guide you through the magical process of turning simple wool into beautiful, textured pieces of art.
In this introduction to felting you’ll learn fundamental techniques of working with flat woolens to create your own decorative piece — somewhat like painting with wool!

Bring a bit of inspiration – a photo, painting or design — or just bring yourself! All materials and tools required are included with registration!
Whether you’re a beginner or have some felting experience, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and create beautiful handmade items. Join Anne Gohorel for a day of creativity, inspiration, and fun in the world of felting.
